The employee will be responsible for processing new diet orders as received, prepare cold food items for patient trays, wait on customers in the cafeteria, answer phone requests, fill floor stock requisitions, assist cook and other team members as needed as well as wash and put away dishes. Knowledge of food service sanitation and food production, good customer service skills, knowledge of therapeutic diets is beneficial.
High School Diploma or equivalent required and employee must obtain at minimum Food Handler's Certificate within 30 days of employment.
Shifts vary, with approximately 16 hours weekly. Pay begins at $15 and is based on experience.
