The Med/Surg Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the med/surg department which will include but is not limited to ensuring safe, competent, compassionate patient care while leading a team of 25+ nurses and PCTs working cohesively with hospitalists and surrounding departments.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership and organizational skills as well as excellence in time management, organization, critical thinking and interpersonal skills. This is a salaried position (40+ hrs.) M-F, 8am to 4:30pm, and other days as needed.  Shifts outside of the weekday norm may vary depending on staffing needs in the department. 
Education Requirements: Associate Degree in Nursing is required, Bachelors Degree Preferred
