Description
The employee will be responsible for doing routine procedures as assigned by the Cardio Pulmonary supervisor, in accordance with physician’s orders and departmental polices, to exercise good judgement, and to provide quality, safe respiratory therapy treatment to our patients.
Provide respiratory care services in accordance with specific physician's order, department policies and procedures and guidelines. Implement and monitor patient care and equipment. Monitor, record and communicate patient's condition. Assist with care, calibration and maintenance of equipment. Participates in maintaining department inventory levels for supplies and equipment. Respond to emergencies and rapid response. Work with other departments to insure appropriate and efficient service to patients. Perform 12 lead EKG's, holter, even monitors and PFT's. Other duties as assigned.
Associates Respiratory Therapy, CRT or RRT certification from NBRC, IL Licensure Respiratory Care Therapy.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Associates Respiratory Therapy, CRT or RRT certification from NBRC, IL Licensure Respiratory Care Therapy.
Certification/License Required for Job: IL Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner.
This is a prn position with coverage needed on varying shifts. Pay begins at $28.42 for a CRT and $30.83 for an RRT and will increase with experience.
The CCH benefit package is not available to PRN employees; however, compensation will include a 5% increase in lieu of benefits.
