
Description
Primarily responsible for timely and accurate patient registration resulting in seamless handoff to clinical departments; interviews patient and records accurate demographic and financial information, ensures insurance eligibility, calculates and collects patient portion at the time of service; also responsible for collection on patient account payments, balancing daily cash, answering telephone calls and other duties as assigned.
Skills Needed: Excellent customer service skills. Healthcare experience preferred, computer, Microsoft Office, Google applications, muti-line phone, self-starter, attention to detail.
This position is a prn position (as needed, non-benefit eligible, days and shift vary). Hourly wage begins at $18.27 and increases with experience. PRN wages will include a 5% increase in lieu of benefits.
Education Required: High School Diploma or GED required with an associate's degree preferred.
