“I would like to nominate Emily Rich employee of the month. We had a cila patient who just got here and was hungry. I told the patient I was going to feed him. The patient stated to Emily “I want you to feed me.” Emily was so kind she said, “I have never had anyone ask me to feed them before.” Then I stated I would be happy to feed you. I told her was getting ready to feed patients. Emily said it’s perfectly okay, she would love to feed the patient. Emily went above and beyond to make the patient happy, and it is a perfect example of teamwork here at CCH. We help each other in different departments to provide the best for our patients. I was so amazed, and it made my heart melt that Emily showed so much compassion and kindness for the patient. It truly is a perfect example that we can all make a difference no matter if you are in another department or your own, that we all can go the extra mile for our patients.”
