Description
The employee will be responsible for doing routine procedures as assigned by the Cardiopulmonary supervisor, in accordance with physician’s orders and departmental polices, to exercise good judgement, and to provide quality, safe respiratory therapy treatment to our patients.
Provide respiratory care services in accordance with specific physician's order, department policies and procedures and guidelines. Implement and monitor patient care and equipment. Monitor, record and communicate patient's condition. Assist with care, calibration and maintenance of equipment. Participates in maintaining department inventory levels for supplies and equipment. Respond to emergencies and rapid response. Work with other departments to insure appropriate and efficient service to patients. Perform 12 lead EKG's, holter, even monitors and PFT's. Other duties as assigned.

Education required: Associate's Degree from an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program, Active CRT or RRT credentials from NBRC, Active IL State RCP License.
This is a prn position with varying coverage regarding shifts and days of the week. Pay begins at $28.42 for a CRT and $30.83 for an RRT plus an additional 5% for this prn role in lieu of benefits and will increase with experience. Shift differentials will also apply of 6%/9% as applicable, plus weekend differential at a rate of $3 per hour as applicable.
