Description
The Diabetes Education Medical Office Assistant (MOA) supports the daily operations of the diabetes education program by providing both administrative and clinical assistance. Key responsibilities include scheduling patient appointments, calling patients for follow-up or reminder outreach, and assisting with data collection to support program quality and reporting.
This role also includes rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and performing basic screenings as directed by clinical staff. The assistant helps prepare for and participate in community or on-site screening events and provides general support to diabetes educators and providers. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on departmental needs.
Education Requirements: HS Diploma or GED; CNA preferred but not required.
This position is a full-time role position, Monday through Friday day shift, 40 hours per week. Pay begins at $18.27 an hour and increases with experience.
