Description

The employee will be responsible for preparing patient meals according to prescribed diet, prepare food for the cafeteria service as well as serving cafeteria customers.  Maintaining a clean work environment is essential as well as knowledge of food service sanitation and food production. Knowledge of therapeutic diets is beneficial.

Good customer service skills and a pleasant attitude with a focus on teamwork in the workplace is a must. Knowledge of food service sanitation and food production.  Knowledge of therapeutic diets is beneficial.

Employee must obtain at minimum Food Handler's Certificate within 30 days of employment.  A Food Protection Manager Certificate is preferred at hire, but if not available then must be obtained within 6 months of employment. HS Diploma or GED preferred.

Full time position, 80 hours a pay period (2 week pay period).  Sunday through Saturday availability with alternating weekends.  Hours are 11am-7:30pm.  Pay begins at $16 and is based on experience.
