Description
Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, assist in equipment repair, support overall safety, compliance and functionality of the facility in accordance with the Joint Commission, CMS, and NFPA. In addition to the duties described, the candidate will be responsible for the following functions: providing technical leadership and day-to-day coordination of maintenance activities, assist with preventative maintenance programs, supports emergency response efforts and serves as a resource for troubleshooting complex building system issues. The position will help maintain compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, NFPA and other regulatory requirements while ensuring continuity of operations throughout the hospital and clinic facilities.
Skills needed: basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire systems. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, and perform physical tasks.
Education required: High School Diploma or GED and valid driver's license.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position at 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday 7:30am -4:00pm plus some on-call rotation hours.
Pay begins at $22.15 and increases with experience. Pay will also include a $1.50 per hour additional wage for this position in a lead capacity. On-call and call-back pay would also apply when applicable.
