
Description
This position is responsible for conducting diagnostic laboratory tests on patient specimens, including blood and body fluids, to detect the presence or absence of health conditions. Job duties also include quality control testing, instrument maintenance and other clinical and clerical duties, as assigned.
Education required: Phlebotomy experience is preferred. An associate's degree in medical laboratory science is required, and applicant must possess or obtain ASCP or equivalent certification for MLT, MLS or MT within one year of hire.
Hours and days of the week with vary in this position. Pay begins at $29.23 for an MT/MLS position and at $25.13 for an MLT position and increases with experience.
The CCH benefit package is not available to PRN employees, however, compensation will include a 5% increase in lieu of benefits on top of base pay.
