Description

Exceeds the needs of every person who uses the laboratory's services.  Candidate shows knowledge of instrumentation and minimal repairs of lab equipment.  Performs work in an organized manner, prioritizes work to complete within established turnaround time.

Provide courteous, responsive, and efficient service to both internal and external customers.  Collect specimens and perform laboratory testing to aid in the diagnosis and care of patients.  Perform quality control, maintenance and troubleshooting on laboratory equipment as needed.

Associate Degree and Certifications for MLT (MLS) or MT ASCP or equivalent within one year of hire.  MT does require a 4 year Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate field.

This is a PRN position, which means work as needed.  Two shifts a month minimum requirement to stay as an active PRN (if shifts are available).  Starting pay for an MLT is $20.88 and increases with experience.  Starting pay for an MT is $24.98 and increases with experience.  A PRN role is not benefit eligible but does receive additional compensation in place of the benefit package.
