This new program is for you! This education and coaching program will be starting May 15th, 2018 and to work with everyone’s schedule the classes will be held Mondays and Thursdays at 4pm, Tuesdays at 10am and Wednesdays at 7am. All classes will be held in the Clay County Hospital conference room.

    Our August Diabetes Monthly Education Program will welcome Jason Harris, RPh, PharmD, Clay County Hospital's Director of Pharmacy. Jason will speak on diabetes medication update. The overview will include the difference between type 1 and type 2, insulin resistance, risk factors, symptoms and diagnosis. Discussion of all medication classes used in the treatment of Diabetes including how they work, reduction in A1C value, and side effects. This program is designed to educate you on how to better manage your diabetes at home, allowing you to live a healthier, more joyful life.
