    Back by popular demand! Clay County Hospital's Dr. Gaurav Nigam will hold a part II presentation on a Whole Foods Plant-Based Blue Zone Diet! It will be held Thursday, June 15th from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at the First Christian Church fellowship hall in Flora. No registration is required and this event is free and open to the public.

    This is a part II series of lecture is focusing on a healthy lifestyle through plant-based diets. Community members are invited to learn about the secrets of living longer and healthier from people who do it best: Centenarians living in healthy Blue Zone regions of the world. Come learn what they eat and do different from the rest of us to combat aging and disease, to lead 10 decades of fruitful and joyful existence!

    Clay County Hospital added 24 new photos — with Emily Sams and Theresa Edgington.

    “National Hospital Week, first and foremost, is a celebration of people,” Chris Hunt, President of Clay County Hospital, said. “We’re extremely proud of each member of our staff and we recognize the important role they play in extending a sense of trust to our patients and our communities.”

    Clay County Hospital employees celebrated each day last week for National Hospital Week with fun themes! Monday’s theme was kicked off with “favorite sports team logo and free jean day.” Tuesday followed with “ice cream sundaes and topping bar day.” Wednesday was “department color war day.” Thursday was the famous “donut bar day” and Friday was “cookout and wear your favorite Clay County Hospital apparel day" as you can see in the photos below!
